Celestial Voyage (Series)

This series of paintings each feature a single boat-like form suspended in a field of colour. They are reminiscent of pods and cocoons, vessels of protection and nurture needed at the outset of our life’s journey. Some echo the ‘solar barques’ from ancient Egyptian tombs, created for journeys into the afterlife.
